Benefit Operation: Pore-Proof! Kit; | Review

Another Benefit release, another gorgeously packaged kit, full of miniatures that I need to get my hands on! This month was the release of Operation: Poo-Proof! Providing us with 'secret weapons' to help us stay flawless this summer.
I've always loved make-up looks that claim to give you that 'glow', but unfortunatly with my skin type, i'm left looking something like a disco ball! So I have purchased this to combat my skin.
I decided to try this kit a) because I got sucked into the cute packaging but b) because i've always got on well with Benefit products. I didn't want to just buy a powder to mattify my skin, as it can often look cakey.
Introducing to you Operation Pore-prooft kit! All the products are targeted at mattifying the skin and are formulated to minimise the appearance of pores, for smoother looking skin.
Dr. Feel Good has been on the go for years, it is a velvety complexion balm described as a 'silky-smooth miracle worker' that can be worn over make-up or alone. I was most excited to try this out as I like the idea of applying a balm, apposed to a heavy powder that can loose the dimension of your make-up.
The POREfessional PRO Balm is a great primer to be worn under make-up. It is a cult beauty product and has been raved about all over the internet, so I won't go into depth on this product. It's my 3rd tube of the stuff and i'm happy that I have a miniature size to travel with.
The POREfessional Agent Zero Shine Powder simply tip some powder into the lid and swirl the brush into the powder and dust over your make-up to set everything in place. The brush is surprising soft and the loose powder feels weightless on the skin, which I love!
The kit does contain two new products, THE POREfessional License To Blot and Shy Beam. License To Blot is by far my favourite and is the most bizarre product. I think it's strange using a product in the shape of a glue stick, but hey this oil blotting stick works a treat. Simply smooth over your T-zone, it instantly mattifies and stops you getting shiny throughout the day. Oil has finally met its matte!
Shy Beam is a matte version of their famous High Beam. It is a highlighter with a matte finish, described as 'looking mighty fine without the shine' lightly stroke this nude pink highlighter along cheek and brow bones and it will almost turn to a powder finish. It is m is currently exclusive to this kit, as it is yet to be released as a full size version.
My two favourite products are The POREfessional License To Blot and Dr. Feel Good as they both have velvety textures, which go onto the skin so smoothly. They are colourless and do not leave a trace on the skin. These are great for people who don't like using powders to set their makeup and they last all day. All are fab products that are ideal for throwing in your handbag, for on the go keeping your pores and shine away, leaving you with flawless skin this summer.
This kit is retailed at £28.50 and is available online and at benefit stores/counters.

Thank you for reading.
Much love, The Hungry Little Lady x
