Mrs Atha's Coffee & Tea | Leeds

Last week I went to visit my twiny in Leeds. We simply had to go for breakfast at our favourite cafe. I have a lot of friends that live in Leeds, surprisingly not many of them know about Mrs Atha's, so I thought I would show you my favourite cafe!

On this sunny morning it was already full outside, many were people watching and enjoying their first coffee of the day.
As you enter, you are welcomed with the most indulgent homemade cakes and treats. Just look at that stack of red velvety goodness! Mmm.
We were warmly greeted upon arrival. After chatting to the friendly staff, we had our orders taken at the till.
We ordered our breakfast and headed downstairs.
The friendly staff brought our drinks down to us and we tucked in.
We made ourselves comfortable at the tiny quirky tables that surround the open kitchen.
Introducing to you the best flat white coffee. Although it was hot this day, I had to stick to my usual order as the coffee really is unbeatable. Lucy went for an earl grey tea, all tea is served loose and comes with a little timer.
Now for the best bit, Pancakes!
We both ordered the homemade blueberry and maple syrup pancakes. The pancakes are thick and fluffy, yum!
That syrup action definitely deserves a close-up!
I was quick to tuck in, they went down a treat!
I love the quirkiness of this place, drinks are served in mix matching cups, the tables are decorated with small medics bottles, that are filled with lavender and teacups of sugar.
These guys really do serve an amazing flat white.

Downstairs is very cosy and snug, the cafe fills up quickly with the cities caffeine addicts, so be sure to get here nice and early for a table. Good news is that the breakfast menu is served all day!
We love visiting Mrs Atha's Cafe, it really is a little gem within the heart of the city centre. Be sure to pop by if you are a coffee and pancake lover like myself.
