Festival Series | Part 2

festival beauty

Want to make sure you're festival ready ladies? Here is the second part of my Festival Series, including some of my festival favourites.
So you have your wellies at the ready, but want to make sure you have your beauty essentials covered? I usually work by check lists when i'm packing, to make sure I don't miss anything! My favourite beauty gal Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup has compiled an awesome check list (check it out here) to ensure you don't miss anything. Yes, there are some items on there that don't apply to non- make-up and skincare obsessives, and I would probably ditch the shower gel but face wipes, hand bacterial gel, dry shampoo and not forgetting packets of tissues (these are worth their weight in gold at festivals) you get the gist!

My Festival Favourites:

SPF Lip Balm

People are becoming more aware of the importance of wearing an SPF, often wearing an SPF BB/foundation or ensuring they have a layer under makeup. But people often forgetting that it's important to use an SPF on their lips too. Try out a colourful one for your festival look, plus you can usually get away with applying without a mirror - bonus!

Body Glitter

I know what you're thinking, you probably haven't picked up any body glitter since the 90's from Tammy Girl. But Body Glitter is back my friends! Have fun with it, you're at a festival after all! Topshop have launched a festival collection that includes portable pots of facial glitter in a ray of different colours. Trace along your cheekbones and sparkle in those festival fields!

Temporary Tattoos

Temporary Tattoos are everywhere this summer! These are great to add to festival outfits. I picked up some awesome golden ones from Topshop but these can be found everywhere on the high street at the minute. Not brave enough to rock the bindi? Style these tattoos along your wrists/hands for a more subtle festival look. I plan to be rocking some this year at Leeds Fest!

Shop The Look:

Festivals are a great time to have fun with beauty and be experimental. Use bright colours, wear face paints or body glitter and be festival fabulous!

Thank you for reading.
