The Fitness Update : November

So it's the beginning of a new month already! Time for my next monthly installment on all things sweaty and upping my fitness game. Let's do this...
If you have been following me on Instagram/Twitter, you will know that I have been away in the South of France. Nice was amazing and I have definitely overindulged with their amazing French cuisine (more on that later) so I need to get back on the fitness track after a blissful week off.

The Routine I Will Be Doing In October:

Now it's getting colder, i've ditched running (I know, I'm such a wimp) there's just something about running in the rain/dark I really don't dig. So I've started using my trusty exercise bike for another form of cardio. I tend to wheel it into the front room, whack on a music channel on full blast and do intervals of pedalling on a high intensity, as fast as I can until my face resemble something like a tomato, sexy. I've also got back into my yoga! I love to start my day with yoga as I find it really relaxes me and sets me up for the day. If this isn't possible due to work, I save it for the weekend. I roll out my mat, prop up my iPad and 'find what feels good' with YWA on YouTube, this girl is such a babe and has some perfect videos for beginners to ease themselves into!  

The Song To Add To Your Playlist:

If I haven't been listening to the awesome workout playlists available on Spotify, then i've been blasting out a bit of Sia especially 'Elastic Heart' and 'Chandelier'. These are two that I especially enjoy wailing along to while on the exercise bike. I find the choruses really gets me pedaling!

The Recipe To Try Out:

Raw Chocolate Brownies, these are the bomb! I got the recipe from one of my favourite books- Get The Glow by Madeleine Shaw, she's such a goddess in the superfood world. These are great to snack on when you are craving something sweet and are totally guilt-free. The energy boosting raw cacao powder make them a great treat after a work out. I've already made batches of the stuff!
