It seems as everyone and their Grandma has recently joined the gym. I thought I would show you the contents of my gym bag (because who doesn't like nosing in peoples bags?) I still class my self as a gym newbie but here is my 'What's In My Gym Bag' including my favourite work out gear and a few beauty bits!
Joining the gym has been a big step in upping my fitness game and this time I'm planning on not hiding out in the sauna and steam rooms (my pores may look better but my figure certainly won't). Find out what I like to bring along with me.
The Gym AttireI confess, when it comes to workout clothing - I am obsessed. With all these fitness babes on Instagram modelling awesome workout gear, how can you resit? I'm always lusting where can I get that sports bra? and more importantly where can I get a body like that!? When it comes to sleek fitness gear, Sweaty Betty is your gal. With a huge selection from yoga pants to sports bras all in different cuts and stylish designs - and not to mention comfy!! Can I just live in yoga pants please? Plus you can't deny feeling like a total badass in new fitness gear...
The BasicsNo gym bag would be complete without some headphones, deodorant and towel etc but when it comes to bottles, I just couldn't resist this one from UO. Gym and Tonic... Geddit!? There are some other humorous/stylish bottles to choose from on the market right now. H2O has never been so cool.
The Wash bag:I switched up my normal razor for this cute travel size one from GilletteVenus. Yeah, it's way over priced for the miniature size but the protective travel case is super handy! To battle the locks I just couldn't be without my trusty Tangle Teezer. I'm pretty sure everyone has invested in this bad boy, as it's just simply the best for removing tangles but I also like to tackle the tangles with this Detangling Spray (let's just pretend that it's not for kids and FYI it smells amazing!) As I've been enjoying lots of swimming and TBH, sometimes I just can't face wearing the dreaded swim cap that makes me look like an egg-head, so to protect my locks I like to use Herbal Essences' Bee Strong Leave In Conditioner. I picked this up on a whim from my local super market and now I can't be without it. It leaves my hair feeling silky soft and helps lock in moisture that can often be lost from the chlorine. I simply spritz it onto the ends of my hair while damp then continue styling.
For base, I like to slap on Garnier's Miracle Face Cream it's nice and light like a BB cream only with extra coverage - perfect for hiding them rosy cheeks after hitting the treadmill. I don't like to apply much make-up after the gym so will simply add a slick of mascara, I'm currently using Clinques' Lash Power to coat the lashes and a dab of my favourite gloss AKA Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 01 to finish the look so.
