Autumn Makeup

I can't quite believe how quickly we are getting through September, but I couldn't be more excited! Not only is it my birthday month, it's my favourite time of year as the evenings start to draw in closer and mornings become more crisp. Autumn is absolutely my favourite season! I can't wait for the leaves to change and to get wrapped up in scarves and my favourite woolly jumpers. It's a great time to mix up your makeup bag and introduce some berry tones and bronzey colours. It was only a matter of time before I cracked out the vampy red lips/smokey bronze eyes and fully embrace Autumnal makeup.

For the base I have been reaching for Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. As the weather becomes more crisp, I move away from lighter bases such as BB/CC creams as I want a slighter fuller coverage. This hydrating gel foundation glides onto the skin and blends seamlessly giving you a fresh and natural finish.
I pair this with Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer for under the eyes as it is lovely and brightening - perfect for under the eyes, and Clarins Instant Concealerwhich has a thick and creamy consistency, that can cover any redness or blemishes.

To add a bit of warmth to my skin, I go in with my beloved Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow. With a light hand, I like to sculpt my *non-existent* cheekbones and apply the stunning highlighter on the tops of my cheekbones.

To finish the base, I add a touch of Benefit's Dandelion brightening finishing powder to the apples of my cheeks to achieve that rosy blush and dab Soap and Glory One Heck Of A Blot  over my T-zone to prevent any shine.

Brows is another one from Benefit. I love using Brow Zings as the powder and wax combo is perfect for creating fuller looking brows.

I love wearing golden toned eye shadows all year round, but during Autumn I like to go for a dark smokey bronze. Of course I achieve this by using the NAKED 2 Palette. I like to sweep Copper all over the lid and blend some of Snakebite into my crease and under my water line. If you have blue eyes like me, Copper is perfect shade to make your eyes pop! Eyes are finished with a coating of mascara and a flick of winged eye liner using my trusty Collection Fast Stroke Eye Liner (I like to use the brown one so it isn't as harsh)I'm yet to find a liner as good as this and it's only £2.99!

To finish my autumnal look I always go back to Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in Wine 107. It's the perfect berry red! But if I'm wanting something more vampy, it's got to be Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Glastonberry. This badass deep purple is perfect for creating the illusion of fuller lips.

I go back to this makeup look time and time again.

I'd love to hear what products you couldn't be without during Autumn, so please do leave any suggestions down below!

Thank you for reading.
Much love, THLL x
