Grapefruit and elderflower cocktail

This super easy grapefruit and elderflower cocktail will certainly wow your guests this summer! A light, fresh and fruity mix. It looks summery and swish and is definitely not one to be missed.

For two servings you'll need:
75ml Gin
25ml Elderflower cordial
50ml Elderflower pressé
A handful of mint leaves
One large grapefruit
Ice
Firstly clap the mint leaves into the palm of your hands, this bruising of the leaves will help bring out the aroma of mint. Throw the leaves into your shaker with plenty of ice. Next, add a double and single shot of gin (75ml). Squeeze a generous amount of grapefruit juice into the mix. Lastly, add a single shot of elderflower cordial (25ml). Then shake generously!
Strain the mixture into your cocktail glass, I like to chill mine in the freezer just before serving. Simply top up with Elderflower pressé and add a slice of grapefruit to garnish. Voila!

Here you have yourself a refreshing cocktail. *Mmmm* Perfect to enjoy on a summer's evening along with good company. Feel free to add as little or as much gin as you'd like, this would even make a refreshing mocktail! If you prefer your cocktails on the sweeter side simply add more elderflower cordial. On the contrary, if you prefer your cocktails with a punch be sure to add a generous squeezing of grapefruit juice.
Cheers!

I hope you enjoy this recipe.
Much love, THLL x
